The year 2007 for the Christian Joy Foundation because of the signing of the Framework Agreement with the Baptist Seminary began with great hopes for the future. The contract gives us a possibility to develop our ministry and to use the campus for our camps and all the different projects. After we invested some funds and time we started using the rented premises in the conference building.  Quite a few big camps, day camps, discipleship weekends were organize at this site.

We started with the winter camp in Radosc and having a great team from Nashville, Tennessee we did a great camp and it was the third winter camp in a row with this wonderful  partner.

The Easter Camp was organized in Radosc and it was a great Blessing for the children as well as for the team from N. Ireland and our Polish leaders.

In the middle of June we started a soup kitchen under a tent behind the conference building and in November we moved in the building because it was to cold to serve the soup outside.

On the first week of the summer holiday with the great help of 20 young people from Kentucky we organized a day camp and each day we had 130 kids from Radosc, Otwock Jozefow as well as from the single mothers’ homes from Bialoleka and Wawer. The kids were brought on the camp site bus big busses and after all the activities fed before they were taken home again.

The next camp was organized with the same team from Kentucky but also with Pastor Pawel Kugler In his Church in Elblag. Our old van broke on the way to the camp site and it was full of people (9 Polish leaders) and a lot of ford and materials. But the camp was great and a lot orphans from the “Eagle’s Nest” orphanage participated along with the children from the town.

One of the biggest camps this summer was the July camp for children and youth in Radosc. We had a team several students from Ulster University Coleraine Christian Union to help with the camp and four friends from Texas and together with a great team of polish leaders/translators we did a great great camp.

In 2007 we served monthly 450 God’s poor with almost 80 tons of basic food of the value of almost 200 000 PLN and delivered it to our dependants from the area of Warsaw, Jozefow and Otwock. This ministry is growing because the need is still great in Poland. There are still many children living in poor families that suffer hunger.

The last camp of the summer 2007 was a hiking camp in Krynica In the Polish mountains. On this camp we had 35 young people from the orphanage in Marwica, and from the single mother’s home in Wawer along with 5 volunteers from Germany and Austria who actually paid for the camp.

In September we had another great team from N. Ireland. We completed two discipleship weekends, one in Radosc and the other in Elblag. The Irish students did a great job helping me deliver 8 tons of food of the September support to our 450 dependants. We visited orphanages, schools, churches, made a trip to the ZOO where they presented their program.

The Christian Joy Foundation Works for children from three state run orphanages, two single mother’s homes, and children recommended by social offices and schools on one hand and with people of good will, Christian Friends from Poland and all mover the World on the other hand. It is a great privilege for me to be a part of this great ministry. We have great plans for the next year and already a few partners agreed to come and help us in our different camps and other projects. In December we were very busy. Among others we organized two Christmas parties: one for the soup kitchen people and one for the kids from single mothers homes and kids clubs:

One of our needs now is to pay off the new van which is a great tool for our ministry. We need to pay the leasing installments for 36 months and I believe that God will provide as he always does, we just need to make a step of faith.

Please continue to pray for us and support our efforts to bring help and the Good News to Polish orphans and disadvantaged children and all the God’s poor that we have here.
