Having almost finished another year of Children’s Camps (saying almost since we still have one more camp coming up the last week of Dec.), we are truly thankful for all that took place during each of the previous camps. God faithfully brought together 6 wonderful teams, from both N. Ireland and the US. He has likewise continued to bless us with an amazing number of volunteers here in Poland who faithfully serve at our camps, often giving up their personal vacation times to do so.

Of course the real goal of these camps is reaching out to the hundreds of children who attend, allowing them a fun-filled week away from the stresses of life, a chance to make new friends from “far away lands”, witness first hand the love and care of God, and hear the Good News which they so desperately need. 

These precious children come to us from all over Poland, through social service agencies, Children’s Homes and other institutions, as well as the needy families on our list of Food Bank recipients. It is our prayer that they will find the answers they are longing for and need on one of these camps. This is all made possible by our precious volunteers and leaders, offering their time, energy, talents and resources which allow the camp to happen and the children to attend.

This coming year we want to do even more! Below you will find a list of planned Camps and dates for 2010. As you can see, at this time we are planning to hold at least 12 camps next year, and we already have teams committed for most of them. This is very exciting and we ask you to pray for each one as the preparations are made.

So how can you help?

• Please be praying for the kids, teams and leaders who were a part of the camp program this year. The work in our lives does not stop on the day the camp ends. Especially the children, as many of them go back home to Kids Klubs and other ministries that continue to water the seeds planted at camp.

• Please pray about joining one of the teams this coming year. We often have teams that are made up of a combination of different folks and while many of the camps already have sponsoring teams, there is usually room for a few more. It is a great way to come introduce yourself, your church, or missions program to the Christian Radosc Foundation.

• Pray about forming your own team and sponsoring one of the camps, even an additional one not yet scheduled. Contact us for more info and possibilities.

•Pray about raising support and making a donation to support one of these camps, even if you are unable to come join us. It can be a great way to introduce missions to youth groups, VBS’s, or Sunday school programs. Contact us for ideas and more information.
