In February 2010 the Lord gave me a wonderful opportunity to serve Him in Poland. I was part of a team of 18 who went out with Colin and Joanna Tinsley to help lead and reach children from orphanages and poor communities for Christ. My expectations were far exceeded by what the Lord would wonderfully do in the lives of those children and also in my life and the lives of the other team members. |

Since I was a teenager I took part in many camps as a group leader and a translator. Most of them were organized by the Christian Joy Foundation. I loved being with the kids and every single hug and smile made all the effort worthwhile! I got to know many kids very well and every time we met was very special both for me and for them. I was happy to see them grow but especially happy to see how they grow in their faith after they dedicated their lives to God. |

Having almost finished another year of Children’s Camps (saying almost since we still have one more camp coming up the last week of Dec.), we are truly thankful for all that took place during each of the previous camps. God faithfully brought together 6 wonderful teams, from both N. Ireland and the US. He has likewise continued to bless us with an amazing number of volunteers here in Poland who faithfully serve at our camps, often giving up their personal vacation times to do so. |

I was nervous and worried that being homesick would get the better of me and limit me from being able to reach my full potential, but deep down I knew that my saviour would take care of me. |

Psalm 78v6 ‘That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born: who should arise and declare them to their children:’ On arriving in Poland we met Henryk and set of for an exciting 5 hour bus journey to Narewka. Here we were met by 66 enthusiastic children and smiles all round. We conducted morning and evening meetings including Polish and English singing, story telling, quizzes and testimonies. My favorite part of the meeting was the singing as regardless the language barrier we could still sing praises to our Great God. Both the children and the leaders took part in the singing, sometimes the leaders enjoyed themselves more than the children. |
