For most of us, Birthdays are special days; Joyful days we want to celebrate with those close to us. Have you ever thought about sharing this JOY with others, those in need who you may never even meet? Recently a former neighbor of mine celebrated her Birthday. It also happened that a close friend had her Birthday at about the same time. Both of them decided that they wanted to celebrate in a special way this year and asked their family and friends not to buy them anything but rather donate the funds they would have spent to be collected and donated to a charitable organization.

My first contact with the Christian Radosc Foundation was four years ago during summer vacation. Some of the children which I am responsible for in my work as a Social Curator told me about the Kid’s Club and Day Camps (VBS) in Otwock and Radosc. They were very happy and spoke very highly about them. They said that everything was well planned and well organized. A bus would come to pick them up, almost at their doorsteps. These children are from very poor homes and sentenced to spend their vacations at home or rather on the streets without proper care.

Ministry is not always a pleasant experience in fact it can often be just plain difficult. And this is a good description of one aspect of the Christian Radosc Foundation’s (CRF) work here, the Food Bank deliveries the foundation is responsible for each month. It goes without saying that this is a very important work, and from the perspective of those whom receive it, very necessary. But it can often just seem hard, especially in two specific ways. |

Dear Polish volunteers, Foreign guests and Partners in ministry, This year, the Camping Ministry of the Christian Radosc Foundation started in January and ended just this September. During this time were held 7 major camps as well as 2 discipleship weekends. The camps were organized in 4 different locations. We were three times in Radosc, twice in Wisla, and once each at „ARKA” in Warsaw and in Narewka. All together this year there were about 550 children, 70 guests from outside of Poland, as well as a 100 Polish leaders / volunteers. We were not always able to thank all of you personally but it is very important to us that you understand how valuable your service was. We want to thank all of you for your time, which you gave serving at the camps and on other projects. |
