WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE
By helping children we want to achieve the following:
- To create conditions in which they have a feeling of stability and personal safety,
- To release their full and childlike joy,
- To eliminate the mental and emotional damage done to children that have experienced the tragedy of being an orphan, that are handicapped or that have been subjected to pathological conditions in their immediate surroundings.
- To prevent new tragedies with children’s involvement and other problems associated with the protection of newly-conceived life,
- To show children that God loves them and cares about what happens to them.
WHOM DO WE ASSIST
- Orphans, abandoned children, handicapped children and children in impoverished families or living in pathological circumstances,
- Single mothers raising underage children.
Our Foundation provides care to all children regardless of their religious convictions, race, social origin and nationality.
WHAT FORMS OF ACTION DOES THE FOUNDATION TAKE
- The Foundation provides financial, material and environmental assistance.
- It organizes recreation for the children within the framework of the activities set forth in its charter.
- It distributes Christian and worldly literature to propagate and shape Christian and humanitarian life values and to counteract the demoralization of children and youth.
- It disseminates information for the aforementioned purposes.
- It sets up assistance and recreation centers for children (Family-run Orphanages).
- It exchanges experiences about adopting and raising orphans and about working with handicapped children.
