After a fun and busy week at camp we travelled back to Warsaw and got settled into our rooms at the seminary. Saturday morning saw the start of the second phase of our trip, we travelled to a town called Leczna where we took part in open airs organised by the local church.

One of the things highly valued by the Christian Radosc Foundation is co-operation. Co-operation with churches, Kids Clubs, and of course similar Foundations located throughout Poland. In addition, there is our team of valuable volunteers who consistently give of their time and talents in many forms, throughout the year. The Christian Radosc Foundation could not come close to accomplishing all that it does each year without this co-operation from our numerous partners and volunteers.

Our time in Poland was amazing. We fall more in love with the people of Poland every time we come back and this year was no exception. We loaded food into the beautiful new food delivery truck as soon as we arrived in Poland. We helped Henryk distribute food to many of the local families that were obviously in need of the food.

"Dziennik Polski": Nearly two million children in Poland live on the edge of poverty. Half of all Polish families can not afford to send a child on at least one week holiday away from home, according to a survey this week on behalf of the “Teacher’s Voice” by the Institute for Public Opinion Research Homini Homo.
