Having almost finished another year of Children’s Camps (saying almost since we still have one more camp coming up the last week of Dec.), we are truly thankful for all that took place during each of the previous camps. God faithfully brought together 6 wonderful teams, from both N. Ireland and the US. He has likewise continued to bless us with an amazing number of volunteers here in Poland who faithfully serve at our camps, often giving up their personal vacation times to do so.

This mission trip to Poland has been the best experience of my life. I was quite nervous coming to Poland because it was my first time going out of the country. This trip came at a very good point in my life. The last six months I have lost three family members, and I was putting up a wall against God which was the last thing I should have been doing. But right before coming on this trip, God and I got mended when I went for my 7th summer to Mount Herman family camp.

So it seems that on a rainy day just outside of Warsaw that good things can happen and people are not bound by the weather to determine the type of day they will have. Today we headed out from Radosc to deliver presents to children in the area. This Monday is Children's Day in Poland and 120 presents had been wrapped and loaded into a van for delivery.

Tuesday 7th April 2009, the day had finally arrived, after all the planning, praying and fundraising.  A team of eighteen students with a passion for sharing Gods word set off to Warsaw.

Christmas is a time for giving therefore, it is really about grace. One of the greatest verses in the Bible says it all, “For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16). The greatest gift anyone will ever receive can not be found wrapped under a Christmas tree. Instead, it is found at the foot of Calvary’s cross. There we see the true gift of Christmas.
